This fabric is Certified fire retardant NFPA 701. Tested and reviewed by Laboratories for Indoor Flame Retardancy.
Charmeuse Satin is a lightweight smooth solid satin. Our Charmeuse satin is very soft and luxurious like a silky satin but is 100% polyester. Our Charmeuse satin is so flowy that it makes it a great pipe n drape/swagging fabric for the event industry. Great for dresses, lining for wedding gowns and used a lot for lingeries, robes, and blankees. This fabric is very versatile and has an economic price point.
